The Halo 3 Sharing Thread

So many of you are just getting Halo 3 and once you start messing around in the Theatre mode and Forge you will be amazed. So this thread is for sharing screenshots, movies, map varients, game types etc.

Anything you make and save will go onto Bungie.net, you cant view movies on there they have to be downloaded to your 360, but its a very simple system, just select what you want to download on Bungie, then when your next on Halo 3 it will download!

me and dcontrol were messing about with forge today.
one thing i noticed though, was that i couldnt seem to rewind any saved films.
i always assumed that would be a feature coz of what bungie has said and whatever,
ah well seems you cant,
oh nice screeeny phat. thats some looky man cannoning.
not been online yet,
need to sort my nat settings out. and ive been to caught up in campaign.
im on mission eight and totally stuck,
:(
it's pretty difficult considering i only have it on normal so far.

You can rewind multiplayer games, but not campaign ones.

You can either press left on the D-pad, or press X to bring up the controls.
Its not a real rewind like the fast forward is though, quite hard to program I hear.

yeah i know, i just thoguht i remember seeing someone rewind it properly, you know liek in a Vidoc by bungie? must have been seeing things, ah well, still such a fun feature, i've just been playing about on my own mostly, and its awesome, i cant wait for 8 player forge games :p

I got a double kill with the spartan laser but it wasn't in a ranked ffa game it was in a BTB social event, I was gutted. Damn it that achievement escapes me once again. I'll have to upload some images to add to this thread I think.

Gotta love it when they're so weak from a previously thrown in nade that it only takes one shot to kill them both!

My triple kill was then the other guy standing there.

For the last three or four days whenever I've had my first game of the day on Halo 3, I always seem to get:


Shotty Snipers on The Pit.
Spawn very close to rockets spawn
Get a triple [double earlier, there were only two people left after the others quit in the lobby] straight away.

I agree. They should have put the full Mark V armour in the game instead of the Ninja rubbish, at least the Mark V armour would have a reference to the game.

tru playa, do you mean sticking a chopper? there aint no such thing as a brawler in halo 3. oh and to bonzo, the haybusa armour does have reference to the game, they all do, it's all about history of halo, thats what all the armours are, if you read the descriptions.

i get the names of everything wrong in games, im really bad for it. I use the word thingy more than most people, ill admit that. I call the boomstick in GoW the bruteshot and i still mess up on all the halo map names. Headstrong? and lookout?

Was getting the Thunderstorm achievement (Skull) when I came across a kind of passageway to a random place on the second chapter of "The Covenant". I looked over the way to see this symbol:

Closer inspection, it looks like a grunt... If you need help finding it (or the other symbol I didn't get a picture of (which looks like some kind of Ace of Spades?)), then contact me and we'll arrange something!
