View Full Version : Freeview box
I'm looking to get a freeview box but was wondering, does it just plug into the back of you tv and it's sorted? Like it doesn't need to plug into a receiver outside the house like with sky?
And maybe someone could recommend a decent one, cherer.s
(reply as quick as possible please cos my mums in town now and she's gona get one if i can find a decent one)

You need an aerial, like an old school one that sits on top of your roof, or just a little one you put next to the tv.
i do have one that sits by my tv but it's a piece of ---- and i struggle to get reception with it, will that affect the reception on the freeview channels? I'm guessing it will...

yes, but all of them have signal strength meters, so test the one you have first. I have 2 old freeview boxes sitting around unused if you wanna buy one. The Nokia one i have is very good.
sorrry one more thing, do they only work in certain areas?
