Games you would like made into a Movie

Is there any Games old or new you would like to see made into a movie eg Hitman the movie (Teaser Trailer http://uk.media.movies.ign.com/media/499/499143/vid_2032710.html ).
I cant wait for the Gears of war movie (its only on paper at the moment but will be made)Maybe if its succesfull we will get a trilogy like the games:)

I hate movie tie ins either way, if its a game tie in to a movie or a movie tie in to a game. I've yet to see a really decent one of either
All game movies so far have been dire, mustly thanks to Uwe Bowl.
I don't really want to see any games turned into movies as you'd never be able to relive the excitement of the game.

Good comment and i actually have to agree..lets hope hitman can do something others could'nt.I did like Silent Hill though so that may be an exception to the cause.

But i dont think a BSG movie (of the new lot) will work
Its the suspense and cliffhangers at the end of episodes that keep me excited and watching, but if they made a movie, there would be no cliffhangers forcing you to wait another week which would be disappointing :/

The picture was of Super Mario Brothers the movie..dont know why its not working now it was fine a min ago.And im sure BSG game can be made and still be suspensful.It would be good to fly the different crafts then jump to another sector on there journey to find earth and have to battle it out with a fleet of cylon battleships etc(wishful thinking i suppose)

A game may work, but the BSG series has been better known for its drama rather than its action. Thats why things like Star Wars games work quite well, cause they were mainly action. But if a TV series is made up of mostly drama and, say, 10 mins an episode of action, its a bit silly to make a game of it.

i can't say i've ever seen Super Mario Bros :/
But the Goombas look awesome :p

You have a good point my friend but there will be a movie to dvd release in a few months for BSG..It's set between series 2 and 3 on finding another Fleet ship and about there story after leaving caprica during the Cylon attack but hey a little of topic lol

Did anyone ever see the trailer for the Splinter Cell Movie when you bought Chaos Theory? It was on the extras, didnt show anything apart from writing (usual dramatic stuff) and then Splinter Cell Movie came up with a date, cant remember when though.
Assassins creed should be awesome if it got made into a film, i know theres talks of it so, heres hoping. Oh and the Halo Movie is back on the cards, Fox have agreed to fund it and whatever, but the script is being re-drafted. yayzzz. Late 2009 they have it in as.

them two tomb raider movies weer watchable and the two resident evil films were a bit crap and had nothing to do with the games other than the t virus and umbrella-a-a-a-a-a-a-a but still entertaining.

i always thought half life would make a good film it would have to be 3+ hours long and have a good director, oh and they would have to of course break the rule of gordon freeman not talking unless it was all him caving in head crab zomvies with his crowbar.

another would be monkey island now that would be cool i know pirates of the carribean stole a load from this game but it wasn't as good soo i want a monkey island movie

It does look pretty... well... crap. Only three photo's I know, but it hasn't drawn any major stars to lend it some credibility.

Look at comic book movies. Lame ducks until there was some decent money and fairly big actors put into them.

Rainbow Six is the best book I have ever read
The bit in the theme park (think it's Disneyland) is like a roller coaster ride.
They make a film of it, I shed tears of joy
