Gears Of War - Query

Im still relatively new to Xbox live and all.

Sometimes when i play GOW it says i cannot join a games because..
"the host has downloaded content you have not"

What is this content & how do i get it

(ps, this has been bugging me for ages, so help is much appreciated)

lol ive never heard someone ask a dumb question like that lol, when your in the gears of war menu it will have a donwload content button like press x i think and it takes you to their part on the marketplace to dl the free maps or buy the new maps or pay out the but for a dumb theme or gamerpics

I dont think its that dumb of a question if your new to this stuff, as KoMPLeKz says that he/she is. But yeh, the marketplace holds all the downloadables for the various online games. Stuff like new maps n game modes, in gears case. (Y)

If you wait until September, you can download those maps that cost 800ms points for free.

I managed to get the "Old Bones" & "Raven Down" levels

I think theres a few more i need i.e: Subway, Process but will hang on till Sept as king of games mentioned.

Im well into it all now, at the time i was still kinda newish to the whole Xbox Live experience but im getting under way. Thanks for some of the replies.
