Does anyone have such problem with one of their CD? I have Splinter Cell : Double Agent and he was working pretty well, then I did some game on Live and the first problems appeared, now each time I try to do a game on Live, they say the disc is unreadable etc...Few hours later the solo bugged too each time I tried to look fort something on my watch or on computers...
The fact is, the CD doesn't have a single major scratch (Indeed there are few made by the Xbox, but it just can't be the reason...), and he still look in pretty well condition.

I thought it was the CD or my Xbox, but then I played Guitar Hero at one of my friend's home with his Xbox 360...and it seemed he has the same problems...

I'll try another Splinter Cell : Double Agent on my Xbox to see what happen, but I wondered if anyone else had the same problems...and could be the ''Ring of death'' :P

EDIT : Sorry for my english, doing my best lol :P

Strange. I rented TMNT from Blockbuster last night, and got the "Unreadable Disc" message, but I wiped it off with some wet toilet paper, and then dried it with more toilet paper, and it worked fine. I beat the game without any errors.

If there are circular scratches made by the Xbox, their effects are much more severe than ordinary scratches even if they're not as deep, because they cover a lot more pits. That's why you're supposed to wipe discs clean from the centre to the outside rather than around this disc like you might do without thinking.

i had this prob with pes6 when the game got circular scratches. Completely totalled. Theres nothing you can do about them either. I've tried alot of things but nope. Game Over!

Huh yeah but there isn't any circular scratches...I know what you are talking about...there are on the Guitar Hero 2 though, but not on GoW and Splinter Cell.

Anyway, they'll change my console and we'll see after ^^
