I bought that Wireless adapter, installed it, plugged it in and then turned the controller on but nothing happened? It says the lights on the icon(I installed) will flash or light up but nothing does. It also doesn't respond to the games(360 was off too).

Have the correct drivers for it? I assume they come with the adaptor?

Have you synced it?
Thats what I was going to say (Y). Unless its been paired with the pc adapter then its not going to work.

Explain please :p
Like when you first turned on your 360 and had to press the sync button on the console and on the controller so that the controller knows what it's supposed to be talking to. Surely you have to do that with this. Look in the manual.

There is no manual, all it said to was install whats on the disc, THEN plug the adapter in and then turn on the 360 controller. I did press the device and the controller at the same time earlier.
I just played around with it and the controller is flashing on and off in the middle, it says if i press it then it will bring up something on the computer and display my battery life but it doesn't. I'm about to try it on GTA3 now.
K, doesn't seem to work.

Is it in a USB 2.0 port? It may not work in a USB 1.1 as everything I've read mentions USB 2.0 so far. I'm on the case!

Haha, can't believe it was that simple. ;)
Welcome to the exotic world of wireless devices.
Not syncing is the equivalent of not plugging in a controller. ;)

I thought you both ment press the guide button and press the button on the device LOL.
Well... after all that it seems to be a disappointment for Grand Theft Auto 3. I can't look around and i can't assign any buttons to it and it seems i cannot drive forward unless i use the keyboard...wtf.
