Are you hyped for Halo 3

Are you hyped for Halo 3? or, like me are you not wanting it as much as other games? Imo, Halo has had it's day and games like CoD4, Bioshock, SSBB and the rest of the 'new school' games are getting me more exited. I'll still play Halo 3 probably but I wont pre-order, nor am I counting the days.

It is probably becuase I never got in to the whole Halo 2 online thing. Didn't get live until I got my 360 so I only played one or two online Halo games.

See theres the thing, I rarley think about GTA IV either, I don't know why though.I mean, I know they are both(Halo and GTA) going to be good but I cant get excited about them.

Definatley, Halo is the best gameplay experience online and offline. And with 4 player co-op over live and random enemy spawn locations the campaign alone is going to be super replayable.

I am not really that bothered about Halo 3 really yeah it is a good game but like a few others i am looking forward to Call Duty 4, Assassins Creed, Mass Effect, GTA4 much more.

I dont think i will get Halo when it is released.

Well, it's a different kind of "non-hyped" for me, Liam. I think it's the same feeling I have with GTA IV. While you pretty much know that these are going to be tremendous, landmark games...They're known quantities at this point. Also, neither of these games have been shown yet. Yes, Halo 3 got the beta, but they're aren't many screens, trailers and gameplay video that we see of all these other games we're giddy about.

I'll buy them both and play them till my 360 crashes (Which, hopefully is more than a couple of minutes :)) and most people out there will too. Just because we are a little jaded and haven't seen enough on the game(s) to get us pumped, doesn't mean we aren't hyped. :P

Well I'm looking forward to it and will probably buy it on release day, but I wouldn't say I'm 'hyped' about it. I'm more excited about Bioshock and Sega Rally to be honest, I've already played Halo 3 (multiplayer) :P.

Well, after I played the beta, I can't say im to trilled,I think Halo 2 will will be the best for flow of game play. But I did hear they have a map editor for H3, so thats got me excited!

Yeah but CoD4 is doing something to make the series different, it is going away from the whole WW2 thing and doing modern combat, Halo 3 on the other hand you know exactly what to expect, if you know what I mean.

sort of, but theres not much similar to the halo series, if youre talknig about time settign then halos set in about 2552. meh i dunno, thing is its only a trilogy, whereas theres been about 8 CoD games

yeah i get you, thing is usually when i get excited about stuff like that it turns into a massive letdown
and tbh there hasnt been more than 3 xbox 360 games which have made me play them for longer than two weeks

It works out at around £85, which is pretty damn expensive. I get it a whole week before release as Frankie is my Uncle, so shudddup.
