What tournaments would you participate in?

Well our 2vs2 R6V hasn't had as much interest amongst you lot so we thought we'd ask you guys, what WILL you play. Also what makes you want to partake in a tournament, is it the prizes, is it the times, is it the game types (ie number of players), is it the games, is it even the platforms???

Let us know as there is swag to be had and a tournament isn't a tournament without players.

Well 2v2 just isn't too exciting as you have to play very defensively....you need at least 4v4 for teams to be able to take a risk and play a more open and aggressive game.

I'd play pretty much anything as long as I'm around at the time.

I'd love to see some PS3 tournies. Resistance would b a great one. Other than that I'd like to see some Shadowrun and Battlefeild 2:modern combat games starting up.

I would like to see some COD2 or PGR3 tourney's. Both the titles can be picked up really cheaply so there shouldnt be anyone who couldnt participate.

I would participate in any tournament for a game I would like, however this world is obsessed with Gears of War and Rainbow 6 which i find quite frankly not all that amazing, so therefore don't want to play in a tournament of that. Might be borrowing Forza soon so I would there, however a few games I think would be a good choice (for me at least).

I'll be up for GRAW 2 anyday, can also get my hands on GRAW and R6 if numbers are low.

Like MJ said, 4v4 is much better than 2v2, so I'd play anything in a team of 4.

GRAW2 would be preferrable, but I can do Vegas or Gears in 4s as well.

PGR3 would be nice, although maybe Forza would be better now seeing as it's the "in" game.

dead or alive 4? becouse it only requirs 2 people to play at once so organising it is easy and beat em ups are good for tournyments

Just Bigger Tournaments, prizes don't bother me personally mainly because I don't expect to win.

I'd even participate in Tournaments that had no Prizes, it's more about having a laugh and a bit of competition at the same time. That's what I think the problem is with only having 2 vs 2 it's basically boring.

If you think you can't make up the number, have you thought about doing a league instead of a knock out tournament?

As for games, I think the likes of Call of Duty 2 (3 was ---- for Online), GRAW 2, R6V, PGR3 or Forza. I think there is an array of games out there that people would defiantly play whether old or new.

Edit: There's also the likes of Shadowrun, as well as PS3 Games like Resistance.

I played the 3rd one for a while when it first came out, it was fun, but it just didnt fell like Call of Duty. I like to play ranked games, but you could never get a game. Some of the maps are too big even with 24 players.

Ranked TDM on COD2 is the mutts nutts, and when you play with some of the better players you really have a great time.

Yea but I think the main issue is getting Publishers to back it, and I suppose Numbers will do that.

However I think a lot of people aren't too fussed about Prizes, granted it's nice but unless you are going to let me pick the game, I wouldn't be fussed.

shadowrun or R6 4v4 would be good. as long as we only used the black pack on rainbow, not the red edition. 2v2 is a bit lonely on the maps and camping works.

We could, we tried it with Pro Ev 6 but it's like all things, alot of people decided not to play there games etc

I agree wth the previous comment on COD2 and COD3..i was a massive COD2 fan i loved everything about it and could'nt wait for COD3 then it came out and what a disappointment it was it really did feel more like Battlefield..all the personality had be removed from it...and Nitrox 360battles.com will soon be holding Forza 2 leagues and the reason i know is im Creating it lol..im on staff and have had loads of positive feedback on it so keep your eye's peeled..actually why not register and get a head start
