Japan PS3 ?!?

Hello, My brothers getting a PS3 from play asia and everything fine apart from the PS2 and Bluray movies, He needs to buy movies and PS2 games from japan or america, Thats not the point The point is the power cord, Could he buy a ps3 or ps2 power cord over here with out it blowing up? How does he go about importing it, considering the High Court ruled that Sony Imports from Asia did not meet EU Safety Regulations so they are banned.

So there is your first hurdle...

The Power Cord is a simple Kettle Lead, I hope that helps.
