A seemingly off-the-cuff comment from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. developer GSC Game World has made us think we could see a console version - or versions - of the survival-FPS unveiled at this year's E3.
In an interview with CVG which we'll publish in full soon, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. project lead Anton Bolshakov explained how THQ's involvement shaped the final game and told us how certain features originally planned were cut or "put aside for the next iterations" when THQ producer Dean Sharpe joined the project.
GSC is to make a number of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. related announcements at this year's E3, so is Bolshakov inadvertently dropping a hint that we're to witness the unveiling of Xbox 360 and/or PS3 versions in July? We reckon a console outing isn't in the realms of impossibility, even though GSC's best known as a PC developer.
All will be revealed next month.
Stalker is an amazing game and it would be a shame for it to only have a PC audience, hopefully this rumour is true.
