Jarhead: Not Too Bad

Just managed to watch Jarhead at the cinema. I was expecting a gung-ho, we are the best type of film but what you got was a pretty realistic and in parts, a very funny film. It deals with things that people may never have seen on the news. The only one problem in it, makes you want to play any game with a sniper rifle in it :)

The film was alright, but somehow the whole movie Jake Gyllenhall's character just annoyed the hell out of me. Jamie Foxx role was the best, oo-rah! I also wanted some shooting to be done by Jake, which did not happen.

5/10, i do not recommend it.

Not seen this yet, but it looked ok.

Advertised a hell of a lot on TV here, so maybe I'll wait until the hype has died down a bit before going to see it.

I have it on DVD, arrived this morning, will watch it next week as off work for 5 days (yay!) but from what you guys are saying about it it's probably not priority...especially when Lost Series 2 eps. 9 & 10 came too!!

Full Metal Jacket is a much better movie than this one, didnt like thought it was a waste of money and time.
