We look at the achievements and trophies you’ll be unlocking in GTA V
Since the launch of the Xbox 360 back in 2005, the sound of “bleep bloop” during games has given gamers the chance to rack up points and (more importantly) bragging rights.
In mid-August, Rockstar unveiled the achievement and trophy list for Grand Theft Auto V, which contains 49 achievements worth 1,000 GamerScore and 50 PlayStation Trophies. The list contains a mix of achievements and trophies to be unlocked during the story mode, in GTA Online and in the game’s side missions too.
These unlockables give an slight insight into what we can expect from Grand Theft Auto V. For example, “From Beyond the Stars” offers 15 GamerScore for collecting and returning all spaceship parts and there are rewards for full modification of weapons and vehicles.
The biggest reward is 100 GamerScore for attaining 100% game completion, while 80 GamerScore is awarded for reaching Rank 100 in GTA Online. Furthermore, there are 11 secret achievements, totalling 220 GamerScore, which we can only assume are story-related.
